How to buy premium cigars inexpensively!

TAO OF CIGARS : I’ve been asked how and where I buy my cigars. If you know me, you know how tight I am with my money and how I love a good deal. So here is my answer about how to get the best cigars at the best price. Hope this helps! When everyone else was gouging the daylights out of cigar smokers in the eighties, Jrcigars kept prices low even if it meant selling only to their regular customers and turning down new buisiness, here is a link to their site: LINK: www.jrcigars.com cigar smoking cigars smoke a new estate pipe tobacco review tips tutorial 101 basics how to light lighting matches lighter funny comedy video blog vlog fix story humor stories racontour tao of collecting collection my excalibur hoyo de monterey maduro wrapper briar pack men women sex taste style dark knight 1066 play list playlist ser jacopo castello upshall dunhill mario grande corona old boy classico matche scuban habana dark knight excaliber Hoyo De Monterey El Rey Del Mundo Romeo Julieta partagas tao

You can get cigars cheaper on just about any online store, not just JR. Cigars international, famous smoke shop, Holt’s cigar all have about the same prices as JR. It’s a no brainer if you’re buying in quantity to go online. JR’s main focus is to sell cigars made by the General Cigar co. Their catalogs and magazines are loaded with those ads.

I agree, I’m pro free enterprise and pro small business, but I am also pro free market, and if these guys want to stay in business they should keep the people happy, instead of preying on them.

I was up in GF during this time LOL I know what you are saying about the boom. The B&M I would not mind supporting If I did not feel as if I was just robbed every time I left the shop with my smoke! I buy PM”s as well and the coin shops are the same they just rob you blind with out mercy.Hey when they have to close I’m not gonna feel bad for em. Got a guy here in town want’s to rip your wallet out of your back pocket every time you enter his shop.Example check tool $5 bks at his shop. :(

I thought about that, and it really bothers me when I hear what other countries are doing to people in the pipe community. The same thing is happening here only a bit slower. Sad, and sick.

    Cheers,

Thank you Kel for sharing this. I too checked with JRCigars and the price is excellent. When I return to the US for a visit, I am, for sure going to order from them.

    Cheers!

A smoking lounge would be great. Wouldn’t it be great to have a “mens club” like they used to have in England? Go there and sit in a big leather wing back chair and smoke a cigar or pipe in peace. Maybe play a game of chess? Those were the days.

    Cheers,

    Kel

I only recently found out that Canada is taxing tobacco in such a way. I thought they were about the same price as the US. (and it’s getting bad here) I don’t smoke that often these days just because of the cost and my financial situation. Maybe if that improves someday I will smoke more often. I haven’t bought any new cigars for a couple years. And I’d say unless you smoke them everyday it is just a hobby. She is probably just worried about your health and that’s a good thing. Cheers, Kel

Interesting perspective and living proof of why we have so few brick and mortar tobacconists. During the same time my favorite shop expanded the humidor for cigars and their pipe business was all but discarded. I still can’t afford his cigars and he has cheap pipe blends. It’s all on line now. I am really jealous of those who can enjoy a tobacconist with a smoking lounge! I miss the conversation and hanging out at the tobacconist on my wife’s shopping trips.

    Hi Kel
I must say I am jealous about the US prices for cigars. Canada is taxed to death, I have been on the JR website often and also contacted them once but unfortunately they don’t sent Cigars up here. What are your favorite cigar brands? I smoked Cigars first then onto pipes, but you still can’t beat a nice cigar. How often do ya smoke them? The wife is always after me for smoking them but she I think she see’s it more as a hobby than a habit. Or at least that’s what I tell myself. (LOL)
